Can you drink a Green Smoothie from the freezer or does it hurt your stomach?
I've just started introducing using Green Smoothies in my daily diet; whereby I have prepared a weeks worth into seven Mason jars that I use each day to make life as simple as possible. I keep these portions in the freezer to best preserve the nutrients of the ingredients.
I noticed that taking them out from the freezer each day that the resulting smoothie would hurt my stomach, it was too cold. A problem that I felt could be mitigated by leaving the jar to "warm" up to a fridge like environment overnight, which worked.
The smoothies are now much more like the commercial kind and not as cold, which may seem obvious, but I've not come across this in online guides elsewhere and wanted to know if anybody else felt this way?
